About Us

Our Story

I started making my own bath and body care because I was tired of buying products with ingredients that I couldn’t pronounce, and if I wanted ones that were better for my skin, I would have to pay an arm and a leg to get them. What started as a hobby while unemployed after moving to Los Angeles with my partner, quickly became a passion and Badcat Bath Co. was created.

All of our products are phthalate free, paraben free, and our scents are skin safe. We reduce plastic use wherever possible, and the majority of our packaging is compostable, reusable, or recyclable.

I also believe that self care should be fun, so I set out to create a bath and body line that didn’t take itself too seriously. Fun shapes, unusual yet great-smelling scents, and an playful attitude full of quirky names helps set the brand apart from the usually stuffy and minimal self-care world.

Driven by the desire to help fight animal abuse, we set out to build a company that does just that. Our founding feline, Rue, was a stray that wondered her way into our apartment and our hearts back in 2014. All of our products are cruelty-free, and we only test on interns, not animals.

Badcat Bath Co. is run by a small team in Los Angeles. We design, develop, and create every product from scratch with an obsessive dedication to beauty, quality, and performance. The result? Nothing but the best candles on the market that we're proud to put our names on.

Our Mission

Our mission is simple: we want to craft the best candle and bath products while providing a simple way for you to join the fight against animal abuse in the USA. We do this by donating 10% of all revenue on a monthly basis to our partner nonprofits.

Animal abuse is a man-made problem that requires humans to create laws protecting those who cannot protect themselves. So many Americans want to do something to help but need a simple action step to get started. With every purchase of badcat products, you are raising funds for trusted animal rights non-profits and bringing hope to animals across the country.
